A 39-year-old man, his wife, and their six-year-old daughter were taken to the hospital following a road accident that occurred last night, near the town of Fagureni, Straseni district. The child is in serious condition, and the police are to determine who was driving the car, reports IPN.
According to the General Inspectorate of Police, the accident occurred around 02:00 AM. Preliminarily, the driver is believed to have lost control of the wheel, for reasons yet to be determined, after which the car skidded and ended up in a water drainage channel.
The man was tested with a breathalyzer, and the result indicated a concentration of 0.85 mg/l alcohol in the exhaled air. Biological blood samples were taken from the woman to determine the blood alcohol level.
The police are set to determine who was at the wheel at the time of the accident, as well as all other circumstances of the case.
