11 people have died and over 30 have been injured as a result of Russian bombings in various regions of Ukraine. Emergency teams intervened to mitigate the consequences of the attacks on civilian infrastructure in Kiev, Kharkov, Zaporozhye, Zhytomyr, Donetsk, reports IPN.
In Kiev, Russian attacks have caused the death of two people and the injury of six others, including a 16-year-old teenager. At the same time, the toll of the attacks in the Zaporozhye region has reached three dead and 15 injured. Among the victims are also five children. The bombings targeted a residential block and a company, causing significant damage to nearby homes and cars. The Sumy region was also the target of KAB type guided bombs. Three people lost their lives after a bomb exploded near a hospital.
At the same time, in the Donetsk region, two people died and two were injured in an attack that damaged eight homes and caused fires. In the Nikolaev region, a man died in a drone attack on an agricultural enterprise. In Kharkov, a bombing resulted in eight injuries and infrastructure damage.
In parallel with the hostilities on the Ukrainian front, a series of attacks launched by the Ukrainian army have targeted regions in Russia. According to the governor of the Bryansk region, Egor Kovalchuk, two people died in an attack in which a residence was destroyed. The Saratov region was the target of drones that attacked the Engels air base, causing a fire on the parking platform of Russian bombers and damaging the upper floors of a nearby residential block.
Also, in the Yaroslavl region, a drone attack resulted in one death and four injuries. The governor of the region, Mikhail Evraev, reported that at least 19 drones were intercepted. Furthermore, the official stated that due to the attacks, road traffic was blocked on the exit route from Yaroslavl to Moscow.
