The Moldova Innovation Technology Park (MITP) recorded, according to preliminary data, a turnover of 1 billion dollars in 2025, equivalent to 18.9 billion lei. This represents an increase of 24.3% compared to 2024 and about ten times compared to 2018, the year the park was established, reports IPN.

Deputy Prime Minister Eugeniu Osmochescu, Minister of Economic Development and Digitalization, stated at a press conference that this achievement confirms the transformation of MITP into a national “economic engine”.

The MITP ecosystem has expanded with 571 companies, reaching a total of 2,725 firms from 44 countries by the end of 2025. These employ over 25,000 specialists, and the average salary of 50,000 lei represents the highest level in the Moldovan labor market and one of the most competitive in the region.

The park administrator, Marina Bzovii, emphasized that MITP contributes to the retention of talents in the country, reduces the migration of specialists, and offers competitive professional opportunities.

The highest sales last year were recorded in the segments of client-oriented software, data processing, call-center and dispatch for export, as well as IT consulting. Exports totaled 16.37 billion lei, representing approximately 88.5% of the total turnover.

Moldova Innovation Technology Park is the first e-Park in Europe to offer a unique tax regime of 7% and a stable framework, guaranteed by the state until 2035. By 2026, resident companies estimate revenues of 19.9 billion lei, 5-6% above the turnover of the previous year.

The municipal services are replacing the worn-out pipes in the basement of the building on Calea Iesilor Street, 19 in Chisinau, in order to eliminate leaks and improve the operation of the water and heating supply system, reports IPN.

The General Housing and Urban Development Directorate specifies that the block’s windows will also be replaced. According to the authorities, this measure will contribute to increasing the building’s energy efficiency, reducing heat loss in the cold season, and improving the appearance of common areas.

The municipality specifies that the works are part of the housing infrastructure modernization program. They aim to improve living conditions for residents, increase the safety of the building, and ensure more efficient and reliable community services.

The interview stage of the competition for the appointment of the general director of the public company Teleradio-Moldova, scheduled for July 18, has been postponed at the request of the Information and Security Service. The decision of the Supervisory Council of the institution comes after the director of the SIS, Alexandru Musteata, requested additional time to verify the candidates, reports IPN.

The decision to postpone was approved with five votes in favor and two against.

At the interview stage, four candidates were admitted: Dorin Scobioala, Ecaterina Cheptanaru, Sergiu Sandulescu and Andrei Zapsa. Adrian Graur’s candidacy did not meet the necessary conditions to proceed to the next stage. The file of a sixth candidate, Dumitru Vieru, about whom the Supervisory Council only announced on Thursday, was also rejected on Thursday, on the grounds that it did not meet all the requirements set out in the regulations.

The competition for the appointment of the general director of TRM was launched after the former director, Vlad Turcanu, resigned in the wake of the scandal triggered by the score given by the jury from Moldova to Romania at Eurovision.
