The Republic of Moldova will have a deficit of 229 MWh of electrical energy on Tuesday, between 05:00 PM-09:00 PM. According to Energocom, the deficit is a commercial one and is caused by insufficient capacity for energy import through interconnections with Ukraine and Romania, reports IPN.

Between 05:00 PM-06:00 PM, the forecasted deficit is 4 MWh, between 06:00 PM and 07:00 PM – 59 MWh, between 07:00 PM and 08:00 PM – 111 MWh, and between 08:00 PM and 09:00 PM – 55 MWh.

For the remaining hours of the day, the necessary capacity was reserved to cover the electricity consumption.

Energocom encourages consumers to use electricity rationally, especially between 06:00 PM and 11:00 PM. Citizens are urged to postpone, where possible, the use of high-consumption appliances and to avoid wasting energy.
