Over the next four years, the Party of Action and Solidarity aims to modernize 3,000 km of roads. PAS asserts that, during its term of governance, 700 km of national and regional roads have been put into operation – three times more than in the last ten years, with nearly another 400 km currently under repair, reports IPN.
The Minister of Infrastructure and Regional Development, Vladimir Bolea, a candidate on the PAS lists, stated that European investments will allow the expansion and diversification of road infrastructure projects. “In the coming years we can double the surfaces of roads under construction, thanks to pre-accession funds. We will continue the construction of the Chisinau belt, the Cimislia belt, we will fully connect the north and south of the country. European quality roads mean road safety, first and foremost,” Bolea emphasized.
In turn, the deputy and candidate Vasile Grădinaru mentions that by 2030 the entire ring road of the capital could be completed with the support of the European Union. “We will continue the energy efficiency projects, through the installation of horizontal distribution and the individually controlled consumption of energy for 60% of the blocks,” announced Gradinaru.
In the health sector, deputy Adrian Belîi, who is also a candidate on the PAS list for the parliamentary elections, stated that the investments made in the last four years have visibly changed the hospital system. “In the next term, we will thoroughly repair all the polyclinics and we will continue to increase the salaries of the workers in the health system,” Belîi promised.
And education is announced as a priority for PAS. According to Minister Dan Perciun, candidate for the position of deputy, “the modernization of the school curriculum will continue and emphasis will be placed on creating a safer and friendlier environment, both for children and teachers.”
At the local level, PAS deputy Larisa Voloh mentioned that European resources will be directed towards the modernization of communities. “With European funds, we will accelerate the process of modernizing localities. We will stimulate voluntary amalgamation, by increasing financial support, and we will increase the co-financing fund for projects carried out in partnership with donors and international organizations,” Voloh specified.
