The Moldova Innovation Technology Park (MITP) recorded, according to preliminary data, a turnover of 1 billion dollars in 2025, equivalent to 18.9 billion lei. This represents an increase of 24.3% compared to 2024 and about ten times compared to 2018, the year the park was established, reports IPN.
Deputy Prime Minister Eugeniu Osmochescu, Minister of Economic Development and Digitalization, stated at a press conference that this achievement confirms the transformation of MITP into a national “economic engine”.
The MITP ecosystem has expanded with 571 companies, reaching a total of 2,725 firms from 44 countries by the end of 2025. These employ over 25,000 specialists, and the average salary of 50,000 lei represents the highest level in the Moldovan labor market and one of the most competitive in the region.
The park administrator, Marina Bzovii, emphasized that MITP contributes to the retention of talents in the country, reduces the migration of specialists, and offers competitive professional opportunities.
The highest sales last year were recorded in the segments of client-oriented software, data processing, call-center and dispatch for export, as well as IT consulting. Exports totaled 16.37 billion lei, representing approximately 88.5% of the total turnover.
Moldova Innovation Technology Park is the first e-Park in Europe to offer a unique tax regime of 7% and a stable framework, guaranteed by the state until 2035. By 2026, resident companies estimate revenues of 19.9 billion lei, 5-6% above the turnover of the previous year.
