The Central Electoral Commission has submitted to the Constitutional Court all the necessary documents for the confirmation of the parliamentary election results of September 28 and the validation of the mandates of the elected deputies, reports IPN.
According to the CEC, the submitted file contains the report on the centralization of the election results, the lists of elected candidates and substitutes, as well as the general report on the conduct of the vote.
The Constitutional Court is to confirm or deny the legality of the elections within 10 days of receiving the documents. At the same time, the court will validate the mandates of the elected deputies and confirm the lists of substitute candidates. Validation is only done after the final resolution of any possible challenges submitted to the electoral bodies or courts.
After the parliamentary elections on September 28, the Action and Solidarity Party secured 55 deputy mandates, BEP – 26 mandates, the Alternative Bloc – 8 mandates, while the Our Party Political Party and the Democracy at Home Party each obtained six.
