Payments worth nearly 10 million lei were authorized last week from the National Fund for Agricultural and Rural Development.
The funds were distributed through several financial support mechanisms, intended for both investments and direct support of farmers, reports IPN.
The majority of the funds were directed towards direct payments granted to animal breeders, – nearly 6 million lei.
Additionally, farmers who apply for advance funding or through the LEADER program, aimed at developing investment projects in rural areas, have received support of approximately 3.5 million lei.
In addition to these amounts, the state has covered over one million lei from the Intervention Fund to compensate for the increase in electricity prices.
According to the Agency for Agricultural Intervention and Payments, requests for financial support for this tranche were processed between August 11-15.
