Moldova Post announces that it temporarily suspends the receipt and dispatch of all international postal items destined for Iraq, in the context of the suspension of air traffic and other transport services to this country, reports IPN.
The suspension targets mail deliveries, parcels, and the EMS service.
Starting from June 17th, the Moldovan Post has suspended the reception of all international mailings to Israel, due to the escalating armed conflict between Iran and Israel.
In the context of escalating conflict in the Middle East, Iraq closed its airspace a week ago and suspended traffic at all its airports. In eastern Iraq, near the border with Iran, lies one of the busiest air corridors in the world. Jordan, located between Israel and Iraq, also closed its airspace, a few hours after the start of the Israeli operation.
