The Parliament convenes on Sunday in a special session. The plenary session begins at 11:00 AM and will include the oath-taking ceremony of the new judges of the Constitutional Court, appointed by the Parliament, Government, and the Superior Council of Magistracy, reports IPN.
According to the legislation of the Republic of Moldova, the judges of the Constitutional Court take an oath in front of the Parliament, the President of the Republic of Moldova, and the Superior Council of Magistracy.
The mandates of five constitutional judges expired on August 16, and the new judges will begin their term from the moment of taking the oath. These are Liuba Sova, Nicolae Rosca, Sergiu Litvinenco, Domnica Manole, and Ion Malanciuc.
