A Palace of Justice, which will bring together the Cahul Court and the South Court of Appeal in a single modern headquarters, will be built in Cahul. The Ministry of Justice announces that the construction process of new headquarters for the courts is advancing in several regions of the country, reports IPN.
In Orhei, immediately after the approval of the feasibility study, the Agency for Digitalization in Justice and Judicial Administration (ADJAJ) contracted the services for the preparation of the project documentation. Similar services are to be contracted for the projects in Causeni and Cahul, as mentioned in a press release.
Throughout this year, the Agency will initiate feasibility studies for the institutions in Drochia and Hancesti, while for other localities the procedures for land allocation are underway.
“We are talking about new constructions, which require careful planning, expertise, and coordination among several authorities,” stated the director of ADJAJ, Dumitru Darea, emphasizing that each stage must be properly prepared, so that the final result is “durable and functional.”
The projects are part of the Building Plan for new constructions or renovation of existing ones, aiming to provide more suitable spaces for the conduct of court hearings.
