The initiative group, led by Cristina Frolov, President of the Constantin Mimi Foundation, along with the mayors of Bulboaca, Hîrbovăț, and Gura Bîcului, as well as the Serpentina Nistrului Local Action Group, recently met with Minister of Culture Sergiu Prodan to present the region’s existing tourist attractions, development opportunities, and a plan to establish a tourist route connecting the villages of Bulboaca, Hîrbovăț, Gura Bîcului, Varnița, and Telița along the Nistru River.
Following the discussions, which took place on November 6, it was decided to form a working group that will visit the mentioned villages to assess their touristic potential and later develop a tourism route development plan.
It is worth noting that in mid-October, Castel Mimi hosted the Disaster Risk Reduction Forum, themed “Perspectives for Tourism Development in Anenii Noi District”. The event gathered 25 opinion leaders from Anenii Noi district, led by Cristina Frolov, who, through a unanimously approved resolution, urged the authorities to allocate a dedicated budget for tourism development in the region. Another request was to organize a meeting with the Ministry of Culture representatives to emphasize the importance of supporting rural tourism.
