Negotiations for ending the war in Ukraine will resume this weekend. National security advisers from the countries that are part of the Coalition of Will have agreed to meet in Ukraine on Saturday, January 3, reports IPN.
The meeting was announced by the Ukrainian president, Volodymyr Zelensky, according to whom American advisors will participate online. The discussions will be followed by a meeting of the chiefs of staff from several countries, the event being scheduled for January 5.
The leader from Kiev added that subsequently, a meeting at the leaders’ level within the Coalition of Will is scheduled in France for January 6. The meeting will culminate with a series of discussions between Ukrainian, European and American officials. Volodymyr Zelensky also commented that Ukraine is ensuring that the meeting will be productive and the political support and trust will increase both for the security guarantees, and for the peace agreement.
