The City Hall announces night and holiday interventions on the capital’s roads

The City Hall of Chisinau announces that the works to fill the potholes on the road will continue over the weekend as well. All the teams of the “Exdrupo” Agency are mobilized for the maintenance of the road infrastructure, as a result of the severe weather conditions this winter, reports IPN.

The workers will operate both during the night and on rest days, to ensure the safety of traffic participants.

“These interventions are a necessary measure under current conditions, and hot asphalt works will only be carried out when the air temperature allows,” state the local authorities.

Drivers are urged to drive cautiously and avoid areas under repair.

Traffic restrictions on Minsk Street in the capital, for five days

Traffic on Minsk Street in the capital will be suspended from July 20-24. The restrictions target the section between Hanul Morii and Cetatea Alba streets, in the Botanica sector. To reach the area, drivers will be able to use Tașkent Street, reports IPN.

The measure was established based on a provision of the City Hall of Chisinau and is necessary for the execution of connection works to the water supply and sewerage networks on Tallin Street, 21.

During the interventions, temporary road signs and protective barriers will be installed in the area. After the completion of the works, the road surface will be restored.

The General Inspectorate of Police recommends drivers to drive cautiously, to respect temporary road signs and to choose alternative routes to avoid traffic jams and delays.
