The classrooms and dining areas for the students of the “Gheorghe Malarciuc” Gymnasium in the city of Vatra will be modernized. In this regard, the Chisinau City Hall will allocate 500 thousand lei, reports IPN.
According to the municipality, the investment is part of a broader program to modernize the middle school where over 200 students study.
The City Hall specifies that in the last two years, over 1.4 million lei have been invested in the rehabilitation of the educational institution for thermal and structural rehabilitation, including replacing the heating system, modernizing the lighting, repairing classrooms, corridors, the sports hall, and the food storage.
At the same time, the Chisinau City Hall mentions that the institution has been equipped with computers as part of a partnership with YMCA Moldova, a fact that has allowed the arrangement of a class dedicated to the development of students’ digital skills.
