Teachers without specialized studies, but with work experience, can request recognition certificates.

General education teachers who do not hold qualifications in their field, but have at least 10 years of experience and a corresponding teaching degree, will be able to continue teaching without a decrease in salary. The Ministry of Education and Research urges eligible teachers to apply for certificates recognizing their professional experience, which will allow them to receive salaries based on their professional merits, IPN reports.

Thus, based on the new methodology regarding the retraining and validation of skills for pre-school, primary, middle and high school teaching personnel, the certificate of recognition of professional experience is granted to teachers who hold the II, I, or higher teaching grade, corresponding to their active function.

In order to obtain the certificate, teachers must complete a request addressed to the Ministry of Education and Research and submit it either in physical format, at the MEC headquarters, or in electronic format, at the email address [email protected].

The Ministry specifies that the certificate has unlimited validity. The list of documents that must accompany the request can be consulted on the institution’s official website.

“We encourage eligible teachers to apply for this certificate in order to benefit from salaries based on professional merits. Through this action, the Ministry reaffirms its commitment to support and highlight the work and experience of teachers”, stated Marcelina Baleca, head of department at the Ministry of Education and Culture, quoted in a press release.

The former president of the Constitutional Court, Alexandru Tanase, stated that the changes regarding the competences of the Gagauz autonomy in organizing elections do not represent an infringement on its status. “Gagauzia does not have enemies in Moldova,” Tănase declared in the show “Teritoria Svobodi” with Lilia Burakovski, reports IPN.

Alexandru Tanase also stated that Comrat is being “brazenly manipulated”. “I am very sorry that, after 30 years, other political parties are not normally represented there, and pro-Moscow oriented politicians control the situation in the autonomy”, clarified the former president of the Constitutional Court.

In his opinion, this is a backlog of Chisinau, for which the country will pay a high price due to the ignorance of the situation in the region.

He mentioned that, most likely, legislative changes will be made, according to which Chisinau will designate the electoral bodies itself that will organize the elections in Gagauzia – on the date set by the Popular Assembly.

“Gagauzia has no enemy in the Republic of Moldova. There is no politician – not even the most marginal – who would say that autonomy should be abolished or that certain competencies should be reduced,” concluded the former president of the Constitutional Court.
