Renovated canteen at the “Steam” kindergarten-gymnasium

The cafeteria of the “Steam” Educational Complex, which includes a gymnasium and kindergarten, located in the Central district of the capital, has been reopened after major repairs, reports IPN.

According to the municipal authorities, the areas designated for meal service have been completely renovated: the dining room has been repaired, the food storage and processing sections have been modernized, the water and electricity systems, ventilation and sanitary facilities have been renewed.

The investment, amounting to 370 thousand lei, is financially supported by the Chisinau City Hall.

The “Steam” educational complex was established based on boarding school number 3 in February 2024. In the new project, for modernization, 31 million lei were invested in a year and a half.

According to the General Directorate of Education, Youth and Sport, the “Steam” kindergarten-gymnasium stands out from other schools and kindergartens through its innovative teaching methodology. This promotes learning through trans-disciplinarity, combining science, technology, engineering, the arts, and mathematics.

Users from several countries reported connection issues with Facebook on Sunday. The number of reports rapidly increased during the morning, suggesting a possible widespread malfunction, according to the Downdetector platform, quoted by IPN.

According to reports in the international press, users are experiencing difficulties with authentication, loading the news feed, and using some features of the social network. It is not yet clear whether other services of the Meta company are also affected.

In Moldova, there are issues with browser connectivity, but access through the application is possible. Until this time, Meta company has not provided an explanation for the cause of the incident nor a timeline for its resolution. In the absence of an official confirmation, the exact extent of the disruption remains unclear.

The Downdetector platform monitors online service interruptions and centralizes user reports and other data regarding their functionality. A sudden increase in notifications usually indicates the existence of a technical problem.
