The Moldova WU-16 national team conceded in the first match of the UEFA Development Tournament, being defeated by the Bosnia and Herzegovina representative team with a score of 2-4, reports IPN.
The Bosnia and Herzegovina team opened the scoring in the 11th minute through Neda Miladinovic. Subsequently, they scored twice more before the end of the first half, through Matea Radoijcic, in the 32nd minute, and Leona Ackar in the 45th minute.
Moldova’s national team narrowed the gap before the break, with Alexandra Cercel scoring in the 43rd minute, and after the restart, Polina Mazur scored again in the 52nd minute. However, “The Eagles” were unable to equalize, and in the 61st minute Matea Radoijcic scored again, setting the final score at 2-4.
The next match of the little “eagles” will take place on Saturday, March 14, against the Faroe Islands team. The game is scheduled for 11:00 AM and will be held at the Training Center of the Moldovan teams in Vadul lui Voda.
