The National Team Of Moldova will meet the Israel national team on September 5, in the fourth match of the tricolors in the 2026 World Cup qualification campaign. In a press conference held on Thursday, coach Serghei Clescenco said that after three defeats, all players are ready and motivated to achieve a result that justifies the Supporters ‘ Trust, IPN reports.

Romania’s top scorer, Ion Nicolaescu, will not be able to play against Israel due to the accumulation of yellow cards. For the same reason, Maxim Cojocaru and Ion Nicolaescu will not go out on the field. In addition, the coach announced that Vitalie Damascan and Victor Mudrac are injured.

The match will be played on Friday at Zimbru Stadium in Chisinau, starting at 21: 45. So far, Moldova and Israel have met eight times at the level of national teams. The balance sheet of the clashes is three draws and five defeats for the Moldovan team.
