At the roundabout at the intersection of Gheorghe Asachi, Pantelimon Halippa, Vasile Alecsandri and Hancesti Highway streets in the capital, modernization and landscaping works are being carried out. According to the Chisinau City Hall, the curbs of the roundabouts are currently being replaced, which will subsequently be arranged based on a landscaping project, reports IPN.

The municipality specifies that the works aim to improve the appearance of the intersection, which connects the historic center of the capital with the Telecentru district.

The Chisinau City Hall mentions that the interventions are part of a road infrastructure modernization project in the area. Previously, Gheorghe Asachi Street and Hancesti Highway were paved, and a protective layer was applied to the surface of Pantelimon Halippa Street, using Slurry Seal technology.

In parallel, the municipal authorities specify that asphalt works are being carried out on Ismail Street, on the section between Stefan cel Mare si Sfant Boulevard and Ismail Bridge. Subsequently, the segment between Mihail Kogalniceanu Street and Stefan cel Mare si Sfant Boulevard is also to be asphalted.
