Milsami and Zimbru win by score in the first leg of the Moldova Cup quarterfinals

Milsami Orhei and Zimbru Chisinau achieved resounding victories in the first leg of the Moldovan Cup quarter-finals in football, reports IPN.

In the first match, Zimbru defeated Politehnica UTM with a score of 5-0. Marcello opened the scoring in the 12th minute, followed by the successes of Sharkouski (20), Kozlouski (40), Conceicao (65), and Amoroso (80).

In the other match of the day, Milsami Orhei prevailed with a 5-0 victory against the team Spartanii Sportul. S. Keita scored in the 27th and 62nd minutes, while the remaining goals were netted by Cobet (52) and Carvalho (60, 73).

The other two quarterfinal matches are scheduled for Wednesday, March 4. Starting at 01:00 PM, Petrocub will face FC Balti, and at 03:00 PM, Sheriff Tiraspol will play against the Dacia Buiucani team.

According to the Moldovan Football Federation, the return matches are scheduled for April 21-22.

Users from several countries reported connection issues with Facebook on Sunday. The number of reports rapidly increased during the morning, suggesting a possible widespread malfunction, according to the Downdetector platform, quoted by IPN.

The Downdetector platform monitors online service interruptions and centralizes user reports and other data regarding their functionality. A sudden increase in notifications usually indicates the existence of a technical problem.
