Mihai Popsoi is leaving for Germany. He will participate in the inauguration of the Honorary Consulate in Hamburg

The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mihai Popsoi, will conduct a working visit to Germany from March 3rd to 5th, at the invitation of his German counterpart. During the visit, the Moldovan official will participate in the inauguration of the Honorary Consulate Office of the Republic of Moldova in Hamburg, reports IPN.

During his visit to Germany, Mihai Popsoi has scheduled meetings with the Federal Foreign Minister, Johann Wandephul, as well as with federal and local officials in Hamburg and Berlin. Also, in Berlin, the Moldovan official will discuss with members of the Bundestag and will participate in the conference “EU Expansion – perspectives for the Republic of Moldova”, followed by press statements.

On March 6, Mihai Popsoi will make an official visit to Baku, Azerbaijan, where he will meet with the foreign minister of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, as well as representatives of the Azerbaijani Parliament and Government. The agenda also includes discussions with officials in the economic and energy sectors.

Users from several countries reported connection issues with Facebook on Sunday. The number of reports rapidly increased during the morning, suggesting a possible widespread malfunction, according to the Downdetector platform, quoted by IPN.

According to reports in the international press, users are experiencing difficulties with authentication, loading the news feed, and using some features of the social network. It is not yet clear whether other services of the Meta company are also affected.

In Moldova, there are issues with browser connectivity, but access through the application is possible. Until this time, Meta company has not provided an explanation for the cause of the incident nor a timeline for its resolution. In the absence of an official confirmation, the exact extent of the disruption remains unclear.

The Downdetector platform monitors online service interruptions and centralizes user reports and other data regarding their functionality. A sudden increase in notifications usually indicates the existence of a technical problem.
