Young people from other countries can learn about higher education opportunities in Moldova through the studyin.md platform, launched by the Ministry of Education and Research. The website provides details about bachelor’s and master’s programs in English, currently available at five public universities in the country, reports IPN.
The platform was developed with the financial support of the World Bank, within the framework of the “Higher Education in Moldova” project, and is part of the process of internationalizing higher education.
On the website, foreign students can find information about admission conditions, campus life, visa obtaining procedures, and promotional materials about the geography, history, and culture of Moldova.
According to the MEC, currently in the country there are approximately 6,500 foreign students from 50 countries, of which 4,830 are in undergraduate and integrated programs, and almost 1,600 are in master’s programs.
