Israeli airlines have been granted permission to operate outbound flights from Israel, under strict security conditions, starting June 23. The decision comes after air transportation was restricted for two weeks due to the security situation in the region, reports IPN.
According to the Moldovan Embassy in Israel, an aircraft will be able to transport a maximum of 50 passengers. At the same time, those who choose to leave Israel now can purchase a return ticket for a date at least 30 days apart.
Interested individuals can register directly with the Israeli airlines El Al, Arkia, Israir, Air Haifa, or Mano Maritime. All procedures are carried out in accordance with the rules set by the Israeli authorities, and ticket sales are open to everyone, without selection criteria. However, priority will be given to humanitarian cases, those involving life-saving, or considered a priority for security reasons.
The decision of the Israeli authorities comes after 12 days of confrontations between Israel and Iran. During this period, the authorities of Moldova have organized the evacuation from Israel of two groups of 30 Moldovan citizens in total.
