In Romania, 24 candidates completed the 2025 national baccalaureate exam session with an average grade of 10. The cumulative pass rate, before appeals, is 74.3%, slightly lower than last year, according to results published Friday by the Ministry of Education and Research in Bucharest, IPN reports.
In total, approximately 77,800 candidates out of the 104,600 registered for the current session passed the exam. Just over 3,000 candidates did not show up for the tests, and 64 were eliminated from the exam.
Most of the top marks were achieved in the compulsory subjects for the profile – mathematics and history.
High school graduates in the Republic of Moldova will find out their results on June 26, which will be posted in the baccalaureate centers. On Friday, students took the last test of the current session of the national baccalaureate exam – Mother tongue: Gagauz language and literature, Bulgarian language and literature, and Ukrainian language and literature.
