In the Republic of Moldova, the informational system “e-Monitoring” will be established, which will support the planning, monitoring, and reporting of the implementation of public policies. According to the Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalization, this will digitize national strategic documents and will facilitate the harmonization of legislation with European Union standards, reducing bureaucracy, reports IPN.
According to the MDED project, central public administration authorities will be required to use the platform at all stages of the planning and reporting process. The regulation will detail the rights and obligations of users, data update procedures, and security measures for information protection.
The authorities assert that the implementation of “e-Monitoring” will reduce bureaucracy, gradually eliminate paper-based documentation, and enhance transparency regarding the fulfillment of government commitments.
The project of the Regulation of the informational resource formed by the “e-Monitoring” Information System is set to be examined by the Government on Wednesday.
