Workers of the “Association for the Management of Green Spaces” in Chisinau are washing the havuzu and carrying out preventive works.
On Monday, the havuzu in the capital’s Afgan Park was washed, and on Tuesday the others will be cleaned, Victor Nichitus, a public relations specialist at the municipal enterprise “Green Spaces” told IPN.
They are the havuzu in the “Stefan cel Mare” Public Garden and two artesian fountains in the square of the “Maria Biesu” National Opera and Ballet Theater, two havuzu in the square of the Metropolitan Cathedral and one havuzu in the “Aleea Garii” square.
Workers will also prepare for the opening the Waterfall Staircase in the “Valea Morilor” park and the fountain at the entrance to the “Valea Trandafirilor” park. The havuzu in the parks “Sipca”, “La Izvor” and “Alunelul” will also be washed.
The electric motors, which had been switched off for the winter, have been checked and reconnected to the electricity grid.
