CUB suggests commitment, urges citizens to vote on November 5

Members of the Coalition for Unity and Wellbeing (CUB) called on the citizens to go and vote on November 5. The party’s chairman Igor Munteanu proposed a commitment to the citizens by which they guarantee a straight road to decent life, to the civilized Europe and the wanted standards and prosperity if the CUB candidates for the posts of mayor and councilor are voted, IPN reports.

In a news conference, Igor Munteanu said the current government in the current election campaign acted inappropriately. The CUB during several weeks publicly informed about the irregularities witnessed in the election campaign, about the toxic influence groups that came from Israel and other localities. They transmitted reports to the electoral authorities. The CUB wants the local elections to be conducted in accordance with the democratic norms and standards. For the purpose, they need the citizens of Moldova to vote in the elections in a large number and in a conscious way, regardless of the status, language and religion, as the participation in elections will legitimize the election process.

According to Igor Munteanu, the CUB offers two essential values in exchange for the vote they wait – honor and reputation. The campaign conducted in Chisinau was transparent and well-grounded and centered on change and attitude as European democracy in Moldova is not possible without attitude and without a change. By mimicking processes, the government only fundamentally disappoints the voters, the citizens.

Ion Bulgac, CUB candidate for mayor of Chisinau, said that he considers their election campaign was conducted correctly and focused on values and responsibility. The priorities set for Chisinau include the drafting of a new urban development plan, bringing of investments and the necessity of building. The state in which the city is now requires harsh actions, but the CUB is ready to assume responsibility.

Rodica Gramma, CUB deputy chairwoman, called on the citizens to vote morally and with the heart, in accordance with the own values, for the people who they consider represent them, who have the same aspirations. The CUB has a team of professionals who know what the country and Chisinau need.
