The State Enterprise “Railway of Moldova” (CFM) is selling 62 locomotives and 41 passenger cars. The auctions are scheduled for December 22, reports IPN.
The locomotives will be presented in an auction “with a discount”. Most of them are of the 3ТЭ10М model – 58 lots. Three locomotives are of the 2ТЭ10Л model, and one is M62.
At the “out loud” auction on the same day, 41 passenger carriages will be displayed in separate lots, which will include the braking and coupling system, but without bogies.
Within the same auction, 90 carts will be sold, each consisting of a pair of axles with wheels – these representing the most valuable category of scrap iron, the company specifies.
Other assets of CFM, including 81 tank-containers, a service wagon ЦБ-5-659-10 and four refrigerator wagons ЦБ-5-659, will be auctioned on December 23rd.
The State Enterprise is selling unused railway units to accumulate the necessary funds for the payment of wage arrears to employees. Goods that can no longer be used due to wear or lack of spare parts are put up for sale.
