The Central Electoral Commission initiates the review of multiple regulations for streamlining election procedures in the context of the parliamentary elections scheduled for this autumn, set for September 28th, as reported by IPN.
Among the proposed documents for modification are regulations and instructions that target the activity of electoral councils and offices, the procedure for examining complaints, identifying voters through digital means, using electoral stamps, as well as approving and distributing ballots.
In addition, the electoral authority initiates the modification of the Regulation on the specifics of organizing and implementing the postal vote, which this year will be applied in ten states, four more than in the presidential elections and constitutional referendum in the fall of 2024.
According to a statement issued by the institution, the changes are necessary to address the deficiencies identified following previous elections and to update the legal framework in order to ensure optimal conditions for the conduct of elections.
