A prosecutor and three police officers have been detained, suspected of being accomplices in a case where a bribe of 400 thousand dollars is being investigated. According to the General Prosecutor’s Office, the money would have been requested for them and for other employees of the legal institutions, in exchange for making favorable decisions in a money laundering case, reports IPN.
PG states that new searches have been carried out, following the actions taken on March 29, when the first suspect was detained. Regarding this person, the court ordered preventive arrest for 30 days.
The four suspects have been detained for 72 hours. In the case of the prosecutor, the criminal case was initiated on Tuesday, based on the evidence gathered.
