A 49-year-old man has died after the minibus he was driving crashed into a tree on Dimitrie Cantemir Street in the city of Soroca, reports IPN.

According to the General Inspectorate of Police, the accident occurred on Tuesday morning. The victim was taken by medics in an unconscious state, but they could not save his life. According to medical staff, preliminarily, the death would have occurred as a result of a cardiovascular accident.

Law enforcement officials continue their investigations to determine all the circumstances of the accident’s occurrence.
