The residents of the capital are invited to obtain the first user card for free at the “B. P. Hasdeu” Municipal Library, as part of the “Be smart! Get a smart card!” campaign. The card is valid in all 27 branches of the library and provides access to books, magazines, digital resources, study spaces, and educational and cultural activities, reports IPN.
The campaign is carried out in partnership with the City Hall of Chisinau from September 15 to October 15 and is organized by the “B. P. Hasdeu” Library in partnership with the City Hall of Chisinau. The organizers aim to attract the capital’s residents towards reading, knowledge, technology, and educational resources.
In addition to borrowing books and magazines, cardholders can benefit from the support of librarians, training programs, workshops, and cultural events.
During the campaign, the library branches will organize guided tours, book launches, and meetings with personalities. Information activities will also take place in schools, high schools, universities, and other partner institutions.
Information about the library branches, campaign activities, and the method of obtaining the card are available on the website of the “B. P. Hasdeu” Municipal Library.
