The deadline for requesting the registration of an electoral bloc for the elections on September 28 is August 13. Documents can be submitted starting from June 20 to the Central Electoral Commission, from Monday to Friday, between 9:00 and 16:00, with a lunch break between 12:00 and 13:00. On the last day, August 13, the schedule will be extended by one hour, and documents will be received until 17:00, reports IPN.
The regulation on the specifics of forming and registering electoral blocks was published in the June 19 edition of the Official Gazette.
The electoral block is formed based on an agreement between two or more political parties, registered by the Public Services Agency, and the decision of the constituent formations is recorded in a report, in accordance with their statutes.
“We appeal to the political parties to consult and abide by the provisions of the Regulation on the peculiarities of the formation and registration of electoral blocs, published also on the official page of the CEC, www.cec.md”, is stated in a statement issued by the CEC.
The electoral period for the parliamentary elections on September 28 will begin on July 14.
