The management of Moldexpo claims that the land occupied by “Aventura Park” has been used without right for seven years. The reaction comes after the park’s administrator, Stefan Macar, told a press conference that the company had repeatedly refused to sign a lease contract and that the recently launched tender to vacate the park would be illegal, IPN reports.
Asked by IPN, the interim director of C.I.E. “Moldexpo” said that the company “reaffirms its position in the correctness of the actions taken” and claims that “the economic agent has violated state property for 7 years”. Zinaida Popa says that recently, a few days ago, the park was cleaned for the first time by the operator.
At the same time, the head of Moldexpo specified that the company leaves it to people’s discretion to judge “the so-called investments of the owner of the amusement machines”, because, according to Zinaida Popa, “the author skillfully juggles with emotions and distorted facts”.
Moldexpo’s development plans are aimed at creating a space for the community, including sports activities, recreational areas and parking lots, the company’s interim head said. And the ideas have been shaped on the basis of requests from residents who pass through the area every day, Zinaida Popa added.
The director says Moldexpo will continue to respond to these needs and said that „if someone feels their rights have been violated, being in a democratic state, they have every right to resort to legal provisions”.
