Housing and Amenities Division repairs playgrounds in Chisinau

The General Housing and Amenities Division carries out repair works to fix damaged elements of playgrounds in Chisinau. Full or partial repair works this year were executed at 46 playgrounds, IPN reports.

The works are performed in the framework of the “Municipal special destination program to build, lay out and repair playgrounds” in yards of apartment buildings and public spaces. The sum allocated for executing works at playgrounds is of 1 330 664 lei.

“We have many requests in this regard. This way, our Division will gradually intervene at all the addresses according to the made requests. Simultaneously, we call on the citizens not to damage the installations and to protect the public property,” said the General Housing and Amenities Division.

Meteorologists have issued a yellow heatwave warning for almost the entire country

Meteorologists have issued a yellow heatwave warning for this weekend. In most parts of the country, the maximum temperatures will reach +34 degrees Celsius, reports IPN.

The warning is valid for the center, south, and east of the country. Several districts in the north are also under the yellow code. The northernmost districts of the country such as Briceni, Ocnita, Edinet, Drochia, Soroca, Glodeni, Rascani, and Donduseni – are not affected by the warning.

According to the Authority for Meteorology and Environmental Monitoring, the warning can be updated depending on the evolution of weather phenomena.

During periods of heatwave, authorities recommend people to avoid prolonged exposure to the sun during peak hours, to consume enough fluids, and to pay increased attention to children, the elderly, and people with chronic conditions.
