Best volleyball players of Spartakiad of CSC “Dinamo” named

Five teams consisting of employees of internal affairs system during September 18-22 competed in the volleyball stage of the Spartakiad of the Central Sports Club (CSC) “Dinamo” of the Ministry of the Interior. The first place was taken by employees of the General Police Inspectorate, IPN reports.

The team of the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations ranked second, being followed by the teams of the General Border Police Inspectorate, “Ștefan cel Mare” Academy and the General Inspectorate of Carabineers.

A number of employees of the Ministry of the Interior received honorable mentions for their performance in the matches. Sergey Lazarev was named best middle blocker, Victoria Cebăniță – best libero, Alexandru Stolearenco – best defensive specialist, Ianuș Cojoc – best hitter, while Denis Vasilat – best setter.

The next event of the Spartakiad of the CSC “Dinamo” is shooting. The competition will take place at the end of September.

Meteorologists have issued a yellow heatwave warning for this weekend. In most parts of the country, the maximum temperatures will reach +34 degrees Celsius, reports IPN.

The warning is valid for the center, south, and east of the country. Several districts in the north are also under the yellow code. The northernmost districts of the country such as Briceni, Ocnita, Edinet, Drochia, Soroca, Glodeni, Rascani, and Donduseni – are not affected by the warning.

According to the Authority for Meteorology and Environmental Monitoring, the warning can be updated depending on the evolution of weather phenomena.

During periods of heatwave, authorities recommend people to avoid prolonged exposure to the sun during peak hours, to consume enough fluids, and to pay increased attention to children, the elderly, and people with chronic conditions.
