The roofs and windows of several residential buildings in Chisinau will be replaced in the next two months. The municipal authorities announce that the works will be carried out in all sectors of the capital and aim to improve living conditions and increase the energy efficiency of the buildings, reports IPN.
The General Housing and Urban Planning Directorate mentions that the roofs of 11 buildings and the windows of 12 buildings will be replaced. Also, the water and sewer pipes in the basements of 10 buildings are to be repaired.
According to the DGLCA, the works are carried out at the requests of the tenants and aim to extend the operating duration of the residential blocks. The municipal authorities specify that they will continue to invest in the modernization of the residential infrastructure and in improving the quality of services offered to the capital’s inhabitants, giving priority to interventions that directly meet the community’s needs.
