“To avoid any speculation, PAS announces the withdrawal of its candidate for mayor of the municipality of Bălţi. Mister Boris Marcoci”, said the party. The decision is to be formalized by the party’s statutory bodies tomorrow. 

The announcement was posted on the party‘s Facebook page and didn’t contain any other details, IPN reports.

The Central Election Commission today decided that the mayoral runoff vote in the municipality of Bălți will take place on December 19, 2021. Following the exclusion of Șor Party’s candidate for mayor Marina Tauber from the electoral competition, the runoff is to involve independent  Nicolae Grigorishin and PAS’s candidate Boris Marcoci.
