The Cabinet of Ministers will meet on Monday instead of Wednesday, December 25, when the new-style Christmas is marked and budget workers have the day off, IPN reports.
The meeting is scheduled for 15:00.
More than 30 items are on the agenda. Next up is the approval of the Regulation on the Human Resources Information System in the health system. Another draft concerns the State Aid Scheme for enterprises in Free Economic Zones.
Also on the agenda is a draft to initiate negotiations and approve the signing of the Agreement with the Government of Ukraine on Mutual Recognition of Studies and Scientific Degrees.
The executive is also to endorse several draft laws, including measures to support farmers in connection with the 2024 drought.
Contacted by IPN, government spokesman Daniel Voda said that the last two cabinet meetings this year will be held on Mondays.
"The December 23 meeting was scheduled this way to avoid overlapping with the Christmas holiday, and the last meeting of 2024 will be held on December 30, as Wednesday, January 1, is a non-working day. The work of the Government continues as scheduled, without interruption, in order to respond to the priorities and needs of citizens", said Daniel Voda.
