The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration is hosting a temporary exhibition of paintings made by plastic artist Vladimir Palamarciuc, who is a member of the Union of Plastic Artists of the Republic of Moldova, IPN reports, quoting a press release of the Ministry.
“We aim to increase the visibility of the national culture and to contribute to the enhancement of the role of culture in the process of building and strengthening the Republic of Moldova’s image abroad. This way, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs during the next four months will host an exhibition of paintings by plastic artist Vladimir Palamarciuc. We will continue to play host to other painters of our country, including from the diaspora, in the public spaces of the Ministry and at our embassies abroad, in close cooperation with the national cultural institutions,” said Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Nicu Popescu.
Vladimir Palamarciuc’s works form part of public collections of the National Museum of Arts of Moldova, the Culture Center “George Apostu” in Romania’s Bacău, the Buzau County Museum of Romania and of private collections in a number of states. Multiple national and international awards were conferred on the artist.
