A young man was found shot on Sunday in a forest strip between the villages of Antonovca and Prajila in Florești district.

Contacted by IPN for details, the head of the Communication and Protocol Division of the General Police Inspectorate Diana Fetco said that the police were notified by a man who discovered the young man lying next to a "Dacia Duster" car.

The victim, a 35-year-old man, had a gunshot wound in the head. "The preliminary version of the investigators is that the man shot himself, the commission of a crime being excluded at the moment. The police are investigating the case and taking all measures to establish all the circumstances," said Diana Fetco.
