Visa invites businesswomen in Moldova to join the second webinar in the "She’s Next Women Accelerator" program: "Franchising with the Example of Tucano: Building a Global Business with Local Roots"

Chisinau, Moldova – Visa continues its series of educational webinars aimed at Moldovan women entrepreneurs as part of the "She’s Next Women Accelerator" program. The second webinar will be held online on November 11, focusing on business expansion strategies, covering key topics like the roles of franchisor and franchisee, advantages and disadvantages, legal aspects, challenges, and growth opportunities.

This initiative, supported by Visa in partnership with EFSE and maib, is dedicated to supporting women entrepreneurs in managing, financing, and growing their businesses. For businesses with a solid model and a strong brand, franchising provides a pathway to national and international expansion. Tucano Coffee serves as a success story — transforming from a local brand to over 50 locations in 23 cities across 8 countries.

The series of trainings initiated by Visa will address key topics tailored to the needs of women entrepreneurs, providing insights and practical strategies to improve operations and access international markets. Participation in these sessions is free, but registration on the She’s Next community platform is required. Webinar speaker Aliona Cojocaru, Co-founder and Brand & Marketing Coordinator at Tucano Coffee, will share the brand’s journey from founding to international expansion, exploring franchise types, benefits, and challenges illustrated with real-world examples from the company.

The She’s Next digital community platform is open to anyone interested in entrepreneurship, from those with business ideas to startup founders and women running successful businesses. Participants can send messages, post updates, join interest groups, participate in discussions, webinars, and events, seek business contacts, suppliers, or investors, and develop their personal brand.

The second edition of the "She's Next" Women Accelerator program, implemented by XY Partners, runs from September to December this year and focuses on women-led businesses aiming for regional and global expansion. The program offers individual mentoring for 21 women entrepreneurs to scale their businesses and increase revenue.

The top-performing participant will receive a €5,000 grant from Visa and maib to further develop her business. The She's Next Women Accelerator program is implemented by XY Partners with support from the EFSE Entrepreneurship Academy and EU4Business, in partnership with maib.
