Moldova sends second installment of humanitarian aid to Ukraine

The Republic of Moldova has sent a second installment of humanitarian aid to Ukraine, worth over 67.5 million lei. Seven trucks with basic necessities left the Criva-Mămăliga border crossing to Chernivtsi, the Moldovan Government said in a press release.

The donation includes sleeping bags, tents, gas masks and non-perishable food, pet food, clothes and hygiene kits for the whole family.

The first installment of humanitarian aid, worth 24 million lei, was sent to Ukraine in early April. Both humanitarian lots were donated under decisions issued by the Commission for Emergencies. The final installment will be sent in the next period. It will contain over 1.2 million lei worth of glass.
