The main Christmas tree will be inaugurated on December 1 in the Great National Assembly Square of Chisinau. At 5:00 p.m., the lights on the tree will be turned on during a special cultural event, the mayor of Chisinau Ion Ceban posted on social media, quoted by IPN.

On the evening of December 1, the "Santa Claus Orchestra", "Doina" Academic Choir Chapel, "Divertisment" violin ensemble, "Voices of Spring" choristers, pianists Iurie Mahovici and Anatol Lapicus, children's artistic bands and dancers' ensembles will perform on the stage in the central square of Chisinau.

The Christmas Fair will also be opened on December 1 and multiple activities for all ages will be staged "in a fairytale atmosphere, offering visitors a unique experience, full of joy and traditions", promised the mayor.

For visitors, the authorities prepared a diverse program that includes concerts, shows, creative workshops and a special place for meetings with Santa Claus. Among the main attractions in the city center will be the ice rink, the carousel and places to take photos.

The Christmas Fair will be open until mid-January, as in the previous years. Thus, between December 1 and January 15, those interested can visit the stands with traditional products, where they will be able to buy Christmas gifts, decorations, sweets, hot drinks and many other products, including handicrafts.
