The Democratic Party decided to withdraw from government. According to Vladimir Cebotari, the decision was taken in the meeting of the PDM’s National Political Council following the parliamentary parties’ unwillingness to have a dialogue and to resolve the crisis experienced by the Republic of Moldova. He noted that regardless of the solutions that will be found later, the newly formed Government will work illegally as long as the Constitutional Court’s decisions are in force.
The last decisions by the Constitutional Court were adopted in a hurry, with serious deviations from justice and from constitutional justice, by applying an arbitrary procedure. The leader of the Party of Communists of the Republic of Moldova Vladimir Voronin considers the formation of the new Government is not legitimate.
