Weather forecasters warn about a change in weather. A yellow advisory for snow and glazed frost was issued, valid for the period between Friday evening and 8pm on Saturday. It will snow heavily primarily in southern Moldova. A layer of ice will form on roads, IPN reports.
The State Weather Service said the wind will blow from northeast, primary moderately. The temperatures will not change significantly. Minimum nighttime temperatures will oscillate between 0 and -5 degrees Celsius, while daytime temperatures will vary between -2 and +3 degrees Celsius.
The General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations has also warned the citizens about the expected difficult weather conditions, urging drivers to outfit the motor vehicles according to the winter season and to make sure the heating systems in the vehicles work properly.
