Two severely damaged cars on the Tiraspol-Camenca road: the drivers and passengers escaped with their lives

The failure to adapt speed to road conditions caused a violent accident on the Tiraspol-Camenca road on Saturday, where two cars collided. From the images sent from the scene, it can be observed that one of the vehicles was practically torn in half, while the other was severely damaged, reports IPN.

According to preliminary information, one of the drivers lost control of the wheel, veered into the opposite lane, and hit another car that was driving lawfully. At the moment of impact, in the car that skidded, there were, besides the driver, his minor son and a passenger.

Even though both vehicles were seriously damaged, all the individuals involved in the accident survived and were transported to the hospital for examination and treatment.

The authorities remind that the road surface is wet and, in places, covered with black ice, and drivers are advised to drive at reduced speed and avoid dangerous maneuvers.

The National Agency for Energy Regulation will examine on Friday the request from Energocom regarding the increase in natural gas prices. The subject was included on the agenda of the ANRE meeting on July 24, reports IPN.

Energocom has requested an increase in the regulated price for consumers connected to low-pressure distribution networks from 13.35 lei to 19.37 lei per cubic meter, excluding VAT.

The request is motivated by the increase in natural gas procurement costs, against the backdrop of geopolitical tensions in the Middle East and the volatility of international markets. According to Energocom, these have generated an estimated tariff deficit of around 106 million lei.
