The Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, was invited by the American leader, Donald Trump, to the White House on September 29. The announcement was made by the Israeli official during a press conference in Jerusalem, reports IPN.
Netanyahu’s visit comes at a tense moment for the State of Israel, marked by a massive military operation in the city of Gaza, with the aim of occupying it.
The Israeli dignitary emphasized that the recent discussions with Donald Trump were “good”, also mentioning that, during these, he received an invitation to visit the United States.
The meeting between the two, in Washington, will take place three days after he will deliver a speech in front of the UN General Assembly, scheduled to take place in New York on September 26.
