The activity of the Leova-Bumbata border crossing point is temporarily suspended on Monday, between 05:30 PM and 08:30 PM, due to the rising water level of the Prut River, reports IPN.

According to the Border Police, the measure is necessary to maintain safe crossing conditions. During this period, expansion works will be carried out at the crossing point on the bridge, in cooperation with the authorities from Romania.

To avoid potential delays, authorities recommend participants in cross-border traffic to use other border crossing points with Romania, such as Cahul-Oancea, Giurgiulesti-Galati, Sculeni-Sculeni or Leuseni-Albita.
